Are lifejackets included?
Yes. All required safety equipment and lifejackets are included with your rental. We carry lifejackets in sizes ranging from newborn to 5XL. We also carry dog life jackets.
Are water toys included with rentals?
Yes. Boat rentals include 3 complimentary water toys such as tubes, kneeboards, or wakeboards to help you enjoy your time on the water.
Is there anywhere on the lake that is off limits?
Yes, Little River, outside Sorrento. The water levels are too low, and our boats are not insured on that area. Please check the On the water guide by Shuswap Tourism
Can we drive a boat up onto a beach somewhere?
We suggest our visitors explore the Narrows area while visiting Shuswap Lake. All the information can be found on the map we provide with our rentals, and you can also find more details on our website. And no, sorry, we do not permit our rental boats to be beached. You will need to visit locations that have docks available for boat access.
Can my friends drink on the boat as long as the driver is sober?
Yes, passengers are permitted to consume alcohol on the boat as long as the driver remains sober and follows all Canadian boating laws and safety regulations.
Please remember that safety is our top priority, and the operator of the boat is fully responsible for the safety of everyone on board.
If our staff notice that the operator or any passengers appear intoxicated before departure, we reserve the right to cancel the rental with no refund available.
Are there BBQs on the pontoons? Can I bring my own?
No, sorry, we do not provide BBQs on our rental boats. You are welcome to bring your own, but we strongly suggest using it only in a safe location off the water, such as Shuswap Lake Marine Provincial Park – The Narrows.
Please note that any damage caused to the boat, including melted or burned vinyl, may result in the loss of your damage deposit.
Are there washrooms on the boat?
No, our rental boats do not have washrooms on board. For washroom locations, please refer to the map we provide with your rental. You can also view the map in advance on our website to help plan your day on the lake. Please check the On the water guide by Shuswap Tourism
