Frequently Asked Questions About Moorage, Storage, and Boat Care
Why choose Shuswap Marina for boat moorage on Shuswap Lake?
Shuswap Marina is a family-owned and operated marina that has proudly served the Shuswap community since 1987. While the marina itself existed before our family moved to the area, we have spent decades improving the facility and building lasting relationships with our customers.
We believe boating should be enjoyable and stress-free. Our goal is to provide more than just a boat slip—we provide a complete boating experience backed by personal service, experienced staff, and a genuine commitment to taking care of both our customers and their boats.
Over the years, we have invested significantly in our marina infrastructure, including new pilings, extensive dock improvements, and a major retaining wall project that required years of planning and cooperation with multiple government agencies. We build and maintain our docks on site and take great pride in providing a safe, reliable, and well-maintained marina.
What sizes of boats can Shuswap Marina accommodate?
We can accommodate a wide variety of boats including wake boats, ski boats, pontoon boats, fishing boats, cruisers, and recreational vessels up to approximately 32 to 34 feet in length. Unfortunately, No sail boats.

Security, Service, and Peace of Mind
Is Shuswap Marina a secure place to moor my boat?
We believe so.
One of the advantages of Shuswap Marina is our location. We are tucked away from the main road and do not have public waterfront access passing through the marina. This helps reduce unnecessary traffic around customer boats and docks while creating a quieter and more private environment.
We are a family-oriented marina focused on boating, customer service, and helping families enjoy time on the water. We do not sell liquor on site and strive to maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all our customers.
To help protect boats and property, security cameras are installed throughout key areas of the marina.
How often are the docks inspected?
Our docks are inspected daily.
When changing weather conditions or storms are forecast, our team often performs additional dock checks throughout the day.
We regularly inspect mooring lines, dock conditions, and vessels to help ensure boats remain properly secured.
Because your boat is a significant investment, we take pride in looking after it while it is at our marina.

Shuswap Marina is open seven days a week during the boating season.
