2000 Searay 260 Sundancer – 7.4 MPI – Bravo 3
The Searay 260 is a great example of efficiency in design – For a 26′ boat there is a HEAP of space below, AND a great entertainment area above! This boat has a kicker bracket mounted to the swim platform as well as 2 downrigger bases with power points located just below for electric downriggers. There’s full camper canvas (new in 2016 or 17) as well as a cockpit cover. Snap out carpets in the cockpit are in good condition and the carpet savers down below are still in place. Everything on this boat is super clean and in good shape. This boat has been located in fresh water for the last few years, and has been in the Shuswap since Spring of 2017. The Mercruiser 7.4MPI puts out 310hp to the props and has about 800 hours on it, or roughly 50% of its life left. To put that in perspective, most folks average yearly usage on the Shuswap is about 30 hours a year, which gives you a possible 20 years before needing a rebuild! The motor has a fresh tune up on it and is running great. There is a fridge, microwave and alcohol stove in the galley and a vacuflush toilet in the head. There is also Air Conditioning and heat on this boat. So, if you’re plugged into the dock or if you have a small generator you’ve got heat and air-con to keep you in the comfort zone!
